Summary and Note & Notice

Summary:
So as you know about Ned being a total jerk to Pedro and Pedro running for president so Ned. Ned looses because he gives up and lets Pedro win because he realized how a total jerk he was. So Pedro wins the election and he goes back and plays basketball with Ned again they made the team a whole better, they won 5 out of the 6 games in total. Ned stopped humiliating Pedro in front of the whole school because they were once friends again.

Note&Notice:
Aha Moment: When Ned realized that he was being a total jerk to Pedro and how they were best friends he knew he needed to stop doing that. But why in the first place he needed to make fun of Pedro if he knew one day he was going to stop? This is important because it was tearing up there friendship up and they both did not want that to happen because they were best friends. So thats why
Ned gave up the election so Pedro can win and he was happy after that.

Summary and Plot of My Book (Long Shot Mike Lupica)

Summary
To recap about my book (Mike Lupica long Shot) there is this kid named Pedro Morales and Ned and his other basketball teammates. When they go to the basketball court Pedro and Ned make the team look better because Ned is an natural athlete. Pedro gets mad at Ned because they put Ned as the starter and Pedro got really angry with the couch and with Ned. They picked Ned because Pedro only thought about him self not the whole team. So Pedro decides to run for class president and then his opposing candidate is Ned. They compete for class president and the battle on the court of basketball as well.

Plot
The plot of my book is that Ned one of Pedro's best friends is better at basketball and he is also the most popular kid in Vernon Middle School. He played with Pedro on the basketball team its like they put there heads together to make the team a success. But then Pedro stopped playing basketball because of the class president elections, and then Ned decides to run as well. So then Pedro realize that Ned is not that friendly as he thought he was and then Ned makes Pedro look really bad on the basketball court. Pedro has a choice keep getting humiliated or just stop running for president but, he wants to be president but Ned won't let him.

Worker's Right

The argument of the article was Nike Workers are not getting payed right, they are getting abused, they put them in the hot sun when they don't do there work right. The evidence I have is that they are getting paid $1.25 an hour they make a good amount Nike products and then they still don't get paid work this violates #23 Human Rights. What I think about this issue is why would they just take advantage of them? They do know that they are humans too they just want to treat them like they are animals. They think they are tough because they are there boss they think they could just fire them for no reason just because they feel like it. What I learned in this article was that people are still getting treated un equally. They should have the right to get payed right and treat them how they treat others!

The argument in the poem was they treated this man like he was a machine just making clothes and nothing else. Again this violates the #23 Human Right it's CLEARLY says"All Adult's Have The Right To Work And Must Be Paid For Their Work And Treated Fairly And Equally. The problems that are in the poem are, He forgets who he is because they just treat him like machine. The man Says"I forgot What? I Don't Know, I Don't Know! I'm A MACHINE! I was not that different because they both talked about the same thing, they both were getting treated like they were not humans. It Clearly said that no matter what happened in the factory he was still a machine, he did not care because he had no feelings no sense of humor.
